On 18 December, DSV began moving into its new French head office. They expect the transition to be completed during the first quarter of 2018.
DSV in France consolidates its Parisian activities in this new Port of Gennevilliers site. By the end of the first quarter of 2018, the location will comprise not only the local head and branch offices but also the company's cross-docking facility and the French Shared Service Centre.
The new site consists of 3,600 sqm. office space and 8,300 sqm. cross-docking facility. The new sustainable ("green") buildings allow DSV to reduce the amount of resources used on heating/cooling, water, lighting, and other energy consuming appliances and machinery.
The new cross-docking facility has 55 loading docks including one where trucks can be loaded from the side plus 2 ramps.
