FleuraMetz: New branch in France, Baltus joins the group

A lot has happened at FleuraMetz over the last month. On 13 February, they started with their sixth branch in Toulouse, France and on February 21 the company announced that the Aalsmeer based flower and plant export company (Henk Baltus Bloemenexport B.V. and Baltus Plantenexport B.V.) has chose for a future together with FleuraMetz.

The Cash & Carry and five trucks will serve customers in the Toulouse region and the area north of the Pyrenees.



The new facility is under the management of Alexis Komaroff. 

Baltus joins the group
Under the leadership of Bert and Paul Baltus, the company will continue to operate as Baltus Export within the FleuraMetz group focusing on large accounts in Europe. Benefiting from the FleuraMetz group’s economy of scale, Baltus Export will keep strengthening its market position in Europe.

The FleuraMetz group distributes flowers, plants and hard goods. The group’s annual turnover is estimated at 375 million euro. There are over 1400 people employed by FleuraMetz worldwide.
