FlowerTrials attract visitors from all over the world

The weather might not be as sunny as it was last year, but the atmosphere isn't less positive though. Today, the FlowerTrials is in its third day and the breeding companies that are participating in this continuously expanding event are pleased with the visitors so far.

Growers, traders and suppliers from all over Europe and even from countries beyond the continent, like Australia, Canada, Japan and Brazil are finding their way to the 32 locations.

Last season appears to have been a good one for many as the novel, improved and existing varieties are all being embraced. "Consumers are spending more on greens which results in higher sales for growers and in turn a higher demand for varieties for us as well", says one of the participating breeders.

And the event is expanding year after year, so the number of varieties to choose from is becoming broader as well. This year, no less than 60 breeding companies are participating.

The FlowerTrials will last till Friday June 14 (4pm). FloralDaily and our colleagues of our Dutch sister website bpnieuws.nl are on the road in all three regions to cover the event. The full photo report will be published on June 19, but we're already giving you a peek below.
