Guatemalan government abandons search for survivors volcano Fuego

"The Guatemalan government does not expect to find any survivorsafter the eruption of volcano Fuego. This, combined with the danger in the area(small eruptions every day), made them decide to abandon the search", saysNicolette Straver of Dümmen Orange. Their Guatemalan farm is located near thevolcano was not damaged, but last week, they reported to have 2 employees stillmissing.

Unfortunately, they and many other missing people were notfound. However, people are continuing the search. “Even though the governmentstopped the search, there are still a lot of people looking for the bodies oftheir family members with the help of volunteers and machines.”

Dümmen Orange also does its utmost to contribute to thesearch and launched a fundraising project among its colleagues all over theworld, which took off today.
