New greenhouse film launched at 4 Oaks

This week the 4 Oaks show is taking place in the UK and amongst other things, a new greenhouse line foil will be launched by Atoplan. The Skycoat line is produced by the Japanese C.I. Takiron and includes a transparent T5 and a diffuse K5 foil.

The transparant type film is suitable for crops in need of more direct light or greenhouses with a warmer environment and a higher ground temperature, since the Skycoat T5 consists of 5 layers and an anti-drip coating structure. It is a follow-up product of the conventional Sky Coat-5 and was improved on transparency and drip-proofing.

"By selecting the best combination of resins and making the use of their extensive inflating know-how, Sky Coat T-5 realises a top-level transmittance, anti-dust function, physical strength and a long lasting anti-drip function", Randy Leferink with Atoplan Products explains. "The transmission is over 91% and the foil is self-cleaning, making it a very relevant product to us." Atoplan Products is specialised in foil and synthetic fabrics.

Atoplan brought the new product to the 4 Oaks show, that kicked off today. They're also showing various Hydroponics Systems products, an irrigation system supplier they've recently became a dealer of.
