India: Foundation laid for floriculture research center

Rajahmundry MP M. Murali Mohan appealed to nursery farmers to make use of the outcome of research in floriculture which would help them reduce input costs and increase their profits.

Addressing a meeting after laying the foundation stone for a regional research station of the Indian Council of Agriculture Research’s Directorate of Floriculture Research at Vemagiri, he said it would help nursery farmers on various issues ranging from selection of new varieties to addressing challenges such as pests in nurseries.
