UK: No Deal advice for business updated

DEFRA have issued further information for traders of plants and plant products, covering what to do in the event of a no deal Brexit.

There is a new ‘EU Exit Portal’ bringing together advice for businesses and individuals on what to expect and how to prepare in an easy to read format.

There is also a leaflet which you can print off and distribute. This is a short document with general points plus a checklist of what you should be doing now to prepare.

In addition, detailed information regarding the importation of plants and plant products has been released in the form of a technical bulletin from DEFRA, this focusses on the application of Phytosanitary Certificates to import consignments and what you need to do to get the various categories of plants imported into the UK.

More detail can be found on the HTA Brexit Pages
