Feb 13-14 in Grand Haven Michigan:

US (MI): FlowVision hosts grower optimization and efficiency workshop

Many growers are faced with rising labor costs, difficulty in finding good help, seeing transportation costs increase, and having a hard time finding trucking companies to deliver their products. In order to overcome these issues, Flow Vision put a workshop together targeting the greenhouse and nursery owners and managers. The Flow Vision "Lean in the Green Industry Workshop" will be held on February 13-14 in Grand Haven Michigan.

"At this event, growers will learn how to improve labor productivity, more product produced with the same number of people, increase productivity by 15 – 40%, and increase truck payload by 5 – 25%, and having trucks going out at greater than 95% full. In short, Improved transportation costs by having less air on your racks, and higher payload. ", says Flow Visions's co-owner Gary Cortes.

"To stay competitive in this market and industry you have to have a differential and we believe that our Lean Flow system can be the differential."
