Erik Lommerse, the head of the Dutch company Nord Lommerse Flower Bulb Group, which exports flower bulbs for professional growers all over the world, has visited Ulyanovsk, highly rating the local tulips.
The Dutch guest inspected the greenhouse complex at the City Centre for General Improvement and Landscaping in order to check the compliance with the requirements for flower growing conditions and the quality of the final product. Mr. Lommerse rated all the above very highly.
This year the center has acquired 650 thousand tulip bulbs. “Varieties like Sunny Strong Gold, Barcelona and Ile de France are the most popular ones among the local dwellers”, reported the head of the centre, Mr. Gennadiy Morgunov.
