New rules provide protection for Kenyan farmers selling into the UK and EU

A British MEP has told colleagues that new rules against unfair trading will protect suppliers from Kenya and across the world when importing their produce into the EU and post-Brexit UK.

As well as helping to draft the new rules as negotiator for the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the Parliament, West Midlands MEP Anthea McIntyre also urged the EU’s lawmakers to draw on the UK’s model for addressing unfair practices.
