From the 2nd to the 8th of October the 5th Edition of FICIV, the International Festival of Cinema of Valencia, will take place in Valencia. Because there is an overlap with the floriculture fair Iberflora, the two noticed a mutual interest in promoting the events.
FICIV is a multilingual film festival which was founded in 2015. It's main objective is the projection and promotion of movies for children both in Spanish and Valencian.
The focal point of Iberflora is, obviously, to promote the floriculture industry and sales in primarily Spain. In a parallel program to the film festival named “Save the Earth”, the organisation wants to provide a tree to all groups of children participating & visiting the event. The next day all trees will be planted in different locations throughout the city.
This action will be sponsored by Iberflora, which, in its effort to promote environmental sustainability in cities, participates by providing the plants.
