NL: Inochio Seikoen and Floritec sign final agreement on full acquisition

Inochio Seikoen and Floritec announce that they have reached a final agreement on the full acquisition of Floritec.

“We consider this acquisition as an added value for both companies and for our customers. Thanks to this joining of forces, Inochio Seikoen and Floritec will together be optimally able to respond to the market demand for new varieties", says René le Clercq, CEO of Floritec.

Inochio Seikoen is one of the oldest and most prominent Chrysanthemum breeders and producer of basic material for Chrysanthemum growers in Japan. Inochio Agriculture Research Center has very modern R&D facilities for the diagnosis of diseases and pests and analysis of soil and water.

Floritec primarily breeds and grows Chrysanthemums and Pot Celosia for the Dutch and international market. Well-known Chrysanthemum varieties include the Rossi, Calimero and Da Vinci series.
