The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan on Wednesday said that the unemployed youth of the valley must reap benefits of the floriculture industry.
He further said that the sector of floriculture has immense potential for income and employment generation especially in the rural areas. Changing the living standard of the people and increasing urbanisation is increasing the demand for flowers and flower products.
The Divisional Commissioner made these remarks while reviewing the economic avenues for unemployed youth in the floriculture sector.
