Kenya: IFTEX 2019 opening its doors

This morning, during the traditional opening ceremony, the International Flower Trade Expo (IFTEX) was officially opened by Principal Secretary Trade Dr. Chris Kiptoo and CEO Royal FloraHolland Steven van Schilfgaarde.

After the ceremony, the exhibition opened its doors and visitors could enter. For three days (from June 5-7), nearly 200 growers, breeders and suppliers will present their products and services.

Since it's inception in 2012, it is said to have become the largest flower exhibition in Kenya and the entire African region. The show is now in its eighth edition.
