Starting week 24, the name of Swiss company Implantex AG from Thun is changed to Florensis Schweiz AG. Florensis recently acquired a majority stake in Implantex, and according to Florensis CEO Leo Hoogendoorn, this change mainly occurs "for formal reasons". The idea is to be seen and recognized uniformly under the Florensis name on the European market.
Since 1997, Implantex has been one of the leading suppliers of young plants, seeds and starting material among Swiss producers of bedding and balcony plants, biennials, perennials, potted plants and cut flowers. Implantex has been working together with major Europeans and Swiss producer of young plants.
Regarding day-to-day business, nothing will change in practice for our clients and suppliers," according to Implantex director Thomas Bucher. "The way we work isn't changing, the points of contact aren't changing - not even the phone numbers. Only the website, and as a result the e-mail addresses, will be updated."
