Everybody in the flower industry knows that many samples have to be shipped to a US big box floral buyer, before the program is chosen. Sometimes a bouquet proposal is rejected on the basis of just one flower, which means a new sample has to be sent. And what about the sample box that is lost? The samples will have to be sent all over again, and then you have to wait… and your customer ends up with a lot of bouquets in their warehouse or office.
Now, new to the US, with a click of a button, suppliers can, in real time, design and choose their bouquets for next year without shipping a stem. You can see the bouquets virtually, in 3D, ahead of time. Companies can do and change the bouquet design, choose or change the varieties, the flower colors in the bouquet, puff up the bouquet, pull up or push down stems in the bouquet, add or take out stems. Change the sleeves at will, see new varieties that are not yet in bloom but that will be by the time the bouquet has to be in the store shelves, know the exact bouquet price, see how the bouquets will look in the store, all without even shipping or receiving one single stem.
It's already being done in the Netherlands, and implemented by two US companies as you read this. All this has been done with a simple, fast and inexpensive software developed by a Dutch software company. As the team at BloomyPro, put it, it's "what Excel was to the accounting department or the AutoCad was to the architects."
