An absolute record of greenhouse rose productivity has been set in the greenhouse complex Novaya Gollandia, located in Syasstroy town in Volkhovsky region – 450 flowers per square meter. The press service of the Leningrad regional government reported the fact.
The members of the flower association of the Russian Federation have confirmed the achievement of the growers. The record has been demonstrated by a variety cultivated by local growers, Valentina Leningradskaya.
The overall productivity of the regional greenhouse complex is 300 roses per square meter.
The greenhouse complex Novaya Gollandia is one of three enterprises in the Russian Federation leading in cut flowers production.
