Denkers is taking steps on the Colombian market

Denkers BV has a collaboration with the Colombian company Interandina since 2012. Together they can provide the growers in Colombia with almost everything in the field of logistics, from transporting starting material to machines and from flower bulbs to plant protection products. In particular, where it concerns the air and sea freight, they see the number of containers by sea as well as the tonnages by air and the number of customers steadily increasing.

Denkers BV and Interandina have a good relationship with the ambassador in Colombia, Jeroen Roodenburg. Together with the Holland house in Colombia, he stimulates cooperation between Dutch and Colombian companies.

Last week the Proflora took place in Colombia. At this trade fair, the main meeting of Colombian floriculture, both companies presented themselves jointly to South American growers and the trade.

Denkers is an all-round logistics service provider that, among other things, is strong in the transport of flower bulbs. "These go all over the world," says Mark Woertman, director of Denkers BV. “Weekly we send a multitude of containers. Thanks to the collaboration with Interandina, we have also been able to expand our services in this market and we can provide the grower here with their planting material and horticultural supplies.”
