Aluminium black-out cloth returns after long absence

After years of absence, the black-out cloth with aluminum top layer is back on the market. The new improved fire-resistant version of the black-out cloth will be available in the Ridder assortment at the beginning of 2020.

Fire retardant aluminium
The aluminium black-out cloth is back with the re-introduction of a new fire-retardant version. The traditional screen cloth has long been the norm for many Dutch ornamental growers, particularly in the field of chrysanthemum and gerbera cultivation. As a result of stricter requirements regarding fire retardancy, many manufacturers and growers were forced to switch to a white fire-retardant version with a lower energy saving. With Alumaximum, Ridder introduces a new affordable fire-retardant aluminium black-out screen with maximum efficiency.

Compact and energy-saving
The new fire-retardant aluminium black-out cloth from Ridder combines all the good properties of both regular and aluminium black-out cloth. The cloth has a very high energy saving, excellent moisture management and forms a very compact cloth package when open. The aluminum top layer on the screen cloth also provides a higher reflection during sunny conditions, which better controls the temperature in the greenhouse on warmer days.

Fire retardant versions
The new Alumaximum fire-resistant aluminium cloth meets the strict safety requirements set by the Dutch insurance companies. The black-out cloth has an aluminum top layer on a black bottom layer and is supplied as standard in a double layer version (RBO AB + B FR). In addition, Ridder also offers other compositions, such as a three-double layer version (RBO AB + B + B FR). Ask your installer about the various possibilities.
