Trimming Mickey at the Magic Kingdom

In 1972, Andrea Hanson decided that she wanted to become a horticulturist for Disney World, and she's still there today, working as foreman of the topiary team.

"When I was about 9 years old, we came to Disney," she says. "We got in the bus, rode over there, and on the way there I saw the topiary. And I couldn't believe my eyes. And I turned to my mom and I said 'Hey, I'm going to work here one day and trim these bushes.'"

As a gardener in the Magic Kingdom, one of the things she's done is fixing the Mickey face out in the front of the park, which has featured in countless photos taken by guests. See more in this In The Know video:
