NL: Flora IOT introduces container scanner for scanning, counting and identifying counterfeit CCT5-RFID labels

Flora IOT introduces the container scanner for scanning, counting and identifying counterfeit CCT5-RFID labels. The container scanner is easy to use and safeguards the authenticity of CC containers in the CC pool system. The sturdy container scanner is a multifunctional and affordable solution, which unburdens the users in the CC pool system.

Users of the CC pool system are severely affected due to the increasing number of CC containers in circulation with a counterfeit label. Counterfeit CC containers are not accepted at the depots for maintenance and repair, resulting in major financial consequences for the users of the CC pool system.

Flora IOT has conducted research to identify the problems concerning CC containers in the floriculture sector. With the introduction of the container scanner, a solution for pool system users has been found. The container scanner is a sturdy scanner with integrated UHF RIFD antenna and a pre-installed digital app. It is a versatile device that can also be used as barcode scanner and, if a SIM card is installed, as a telephone. This makes it an all-in-one device that - in combination with the SIM card and barcode reader - can do much more than scan RFID labels. Upon purchase of a container scanner, users receive a service contract for maintenance and repair of the device and for updates of the Flora IOT software.

Flora IOT intends to add applications to the container scanner and is currently looking into the possibilities with respect to scanning and counting lock plates and auction trolleys. Flora IOT is focused on the future!
