Stars for Europe is celebrating its 20th anniversary

Back in the year 2000, Stars for Europe was founded with the aim to promote and secure long-term poinsettia sales in Europe. Since then they've grown enormously, to cover 16 countries. "With thanks to our partners and colleagues as well as valuable support from the EU", they state in a press release.

"Together, we've built a powerful network across Europe, all working to keep the poinsettia in its leading position. And while sales for the rest of the indoor flowering plant market have seen a steady decline, we're pleased to report that poinsettia sales remain stable."

Last week, they celebrated at IPM Essen. "Now, we're looking to the future once again - and we hope you'll join us."
