En route to CC pool quality improvement

The spring peak is approaching and a properly functioning CC pool contributes to the logistical efficiency of the entire floriculture chain. Royal FloraHolland issued an ultimatum to Container Centralen last autumn with regard to the quality of the CC pool. What is the current status of the pool? With Container Centralen’s action programme, a lot of work is being done on quality improvement.

However, broken shelves, the inflow of illegal shelves and fake or defective CC labels are now causing numerous operational problems for both users and Royal FloraHolland. In its October 2019 ultimatum, Royal FloraHolland expressed its concerns about the quality of the CC pool. This led to constructive consultations between both parties and an action programme initiated by Container Centralen to achieve an upward trend in the quality of CC shelves and CC TAG5 labels. Royal FloraHolland will continue to critically monitor this trend in order to achieve the desired and required quality of the pool for the floriculture sector.
