In less than two months, Mayesh will be hosting its second International Workshop Experience. The first international floral design workshop took place last year in Quito, but this year they decided to head to The Netherlands. They are bringing along Susan Mcleary and meeting up with Dutch designer, Hanneke Frankema for the 2 day workshop portion of the trip.
During the hands-on workshop, you will get to learn all about Sue's centerpiece design process as well as her inspiring wearable flower techniques, and Hanneke will create her signature bouquet and a stunning transparent installation. After each demonstration, all students will get to create their own floral designs and work on a group installation.
Participants will also visit the Alsmeer Flower Auction, a flower breeder, farm tours, the tulip fields, and having some time to explore in Amsterdam.
