Doc includes, draft letter, FAQs and marketing and communication ideas

Important messaging garden centers can share with their consumers

Fortunately, local governments, as well as states such as California, Washington, Ohio, Connecticut, New York, and North Carolina, have explicitly classified garden centers as essential businesses because they are integral parts of the food supply chain, and especially now, for urgent need for the mental and physical health benefits that gardening offers.

In an effort to share the good news about gardening, a small group of interested industry professionals created a document that contains important messaging garden centers can share with their consumers. "In this way, collectively, garden centers and their customers can be informed and able to promote and defend our industry to their friends, family, neighbors as well as the officials at the local, county and state level. The document includes a draft letter, FAQs and marketing and communication ideas."
