In Gansu province, China, a modern agriculture demonstration park has been built for the flower industry in Lanzhou, the province's capital.
The entire project covers an area of 32 hectares and is divided in three departments. The most recent is the largest greenhouse, covering 18 hectares, and in this department Megaphoton fixtures are being installed right now. The installation will be finished within a few months.
Robert-Jan de Goey, Megaphoton, comments: "For this mega project we use 21000 sets of 1000W Double Ended fixtures." The whole project from the distribution cabinet design to the lighting installation is handled by Megaphoton. At present, the turnkey HPS lighting system is being installed.
