Russia: FlowersExpo 2020 will be in two formats simultaneously

This year, the International exhibition FlowersExpo will be held in two formats simultaneously, namely traditional and digital. "In the context of the pandemic consequent effect, this new format will essentially increase the exhibition purchasing power, extending target audience sufficiently", says Nadezhda Grigoryeva, Head of FlowersExpo exhibition.

"FlowersExpo is the most anticipated annual event of the industry and source for business development and professional advancement. Thousands of specialists expect effective solutions for critical issues as well as reinforcement and support that are very much needed currently."

Fortunately, the management of the exhibition together with Russian and international companies were able to organize the exhibition thoroughly before the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak. And according to experts’ optimistic forecasts, the preparations for the exhibition are fully resumed after 3 months of social distancing and restrictions. "Although limitations are not yet lifted, encouraging signs have emerged and given promise that the exhibition would be held at Crocus Expo as scheduled."

This year, the organization will use the full potential of the modern digital technologies. "The online exhibition will be a modern supplement for the conventional format of “FlowersExpo”. By offering this option, attendees from different parts of Russia and numerous other countries will be able to visit the exhibition online."

Some companies and experts were not able to attend the exhibition even before the pandemic and considering the fact that COVID-19 regulations vary greatly in different countries, online exhibition may as well become the only opportunity for numerous companies to present themselves and their product to the professional Russian plant and flower market while holding online meetings, presentations and hosting negotiations.

"Furthermore, participants will be able to take advantage of a innovative matchmaking system – interests and capabilities partners selection artificial Intelligence tool. Every expert will perform online and offline with their speeches. All events of the offline exhibition will go out in online format, while online events with remote participants are going to be broadcasted in the halls amid FlowersExpo."

The management of the exhibition arranges this semi-digital event, since they are demand-driven by requests of the Russian flowers and plants market and its participants, alongside following their mission, where FlowersExpo represents a source of development for business and specialists.
