Green solutions for the construction sector at The Flower and Plant Show 2020

The Flower and Plant Show offers “green solutions” for the construction industry. Ranging from branded housing projects to office buildings and from residences to commercial structures, The Flower and Plant Show will held by Tarsus Turkey at Tüyap Beylikdüzü, with the support of Landscape Architects and the cooperation of Sub-Union of Ornamental Plant Producers. Flower varieties reflecting the 2021 landscape trends, along with indoor and outdoor ornamental plants, exotic trees and special garden applications will be exhibited at the Fair, taking place for the 12th time on November 12-14.

Providing inspiration for construction companies, as well as architects, interior designers and landscape professionals, The Fair will host a wide variety of ornamental plants and innovative landscape designs and is the platform for construction industry professionals to meet with local producers and cost-effective landscaping products. Tarsus Turkey Fair Director Mustafa Gültekin Gökgül said that The Flower and Plant Show, organized for the 12th time this year is especially important for new construction projects. Gökgül noted that the “Ornamental plants and landscape products will inspire all visitors, particularly representatives from the construction industry, to create added value for new projects. since many of our exhibitors are local producers, building professionals will have the opportunity to purchase plant and landscape solutions at competitive prices."

The local ornamental plants' sector, which realized 1,718 billion in cut flower, indoor and outdoor ornamental plants and flower bulb production on an area of 52.5 million square meters last year, closed 2019 with imports of 43 million dollars in exchange for 80.4 million dollars in exports. Directly employing 100,000 people and providing indirect employment for 500,000 people, the industry realized production of approximately 6 billion Turkish lira. The Flower and Plant Show, the largest meeting of the Local Ornamentals Sector in Turkey, is visited by thousands of professionals, including architects from the building sector, interior designers, landscape architects, construction and landscaping project companies, building markets and city planners, at home and abroad every year.
