A second corona wave seems imminent, but Plantarium Digital Expo will in any case continue to safely offer digital and physical interaction between companies and visitors. The live program offers plenty of inspiration, knowledge and insights to visitors from all around the world. Safe from their chair at home or at work. People can also visit companies in person via Greentours, paying attention to capacity and facilities in compliance with COVID-19 health and safety regulations.
The participants are breeders, growers and suppliers who are all internationally oriented and deal progressively with changing circumstances. While physical contacts are declining, digital interaction is actually increasing and these companies are taking a new path: AllPlant, Bremmer Nurseries, Broere Irrigation, Garden Girls, Joh. Stolwijk & Zonen, Kolster, Nursery Lendert de Vos, Mabo Nurseries, MPS, Plantipp, Quality Green Plants, Rovero, TSD IT, Valkplant, Van Son en Koot, Van Vliet NewPlants and Van Zoest.
The live program on the 2nd and 3rd of September will be streamed from a temporary studio in the Plantarium building. Visitors are not allowed, but during the programs there is room for questions and comments in the live chat that can be seen next to the live broadcast. Of course, the participating companies can be visited digitally and contacted by using live chat.
The content for the live program has been newly developed, in close collaboration with media partners Boom in Business, Greenity and "Mr Plant Geek" Michael Perry. 6 programs are provided every day, with an extra 15 minutes afterwards for questions and answers. Between the programs there are breaks for interaction with the participating companies.
