Fairtrade Roses from Bahati Premium Roses at Veiling Rhein-Maas

From Tuesday, 15 September 2020, Veiling Rhein-Maas will start with the auction of Fairtrade certified roses of the new supplier Bahati Premium Roses from Kenya. Daily from Monday to Friday, 60 cm long roses will be offered in the auction group 'Fairtrade Roses'.

"The different varieties are a welcome addition to the cut flower assortment, which meet our customers' wish for more sustainable and certified products. From week 37, we will present the different varieties of Bahati Premium Roses in our foyer", explains Jos van der Venne, Assortment Manager Import at Veiling Rhein-Maas.

Fairtrade Germany
Fairtrade Germany offers florists a range of free activities and services to support the sale of Fairtrade cut flowers. All businesses that sell Fairtrade roses directly to end consumers can register free of charge on the Fairtrade Germany website. In addition, the Fairtrade label and other Fairtrade Germany promotional material can be requested during registration. Wholesalers and other businesses that do not sell to the end consumer but would still like to use the above-mentioned resources can contact Katharina Schwab, Product and Key Account Manager Flowers and Plants at Fairtrade Germany.

On Tuesday, 8 September 2020, Katharina Schwab will be available to answer your questions during the auction on site in Straelen-Herongen. She will also bring along some promotion material.

If you have any further questions on this subject, please contact Jos van der Venne.
