FlowersExpo 2020 has come to an end on September 10 and the organization is looking back on a successful edition. Despite the COVID-19 situation - which also resulted in a show in two formats, offline and online - the in-person edition in the Crocus Expo in Moscow welcomed 9,857 visitors and the number of visitors on the online platform was 1,870 from 38 countries. The online platform will be available till September 15.

Even though there were less exhibitors this year - 180 (mainly from Russia) compared to 456 (from 30 countries) in the 2019 edition - the number of visitors wasn't drastically lower compared to last year; 11,727 (online and offline) compared to 12,500 people in 2019. This combined with the sales that increased rapidly in May, after the collapsed Mid March and April, again underlines the fact that Russia is a flower-loving country. As usual, at the show, the interest for new varieties was high as well as for the florist demonstrations.
Also this year awards were handed out to several exhibitors.
Besides the offline and online platform, there was also FlowersExpo TV; a livestream all day long in which the organization, several exhibitors, participants and other guests were interviewed. See below the streams of each day.
Next year, FlowersExpo 2021 will be held from September 14-16 in the Crocus Expo in Moscow.
