Holland Dahlia Event presents 6 videos

During the Holland Dahlia Event, which was held from mid-August to the end of September 2020, six videos have been made. The event displays all aspects of dahlias and companies in the most important production region in the Netherlands – between Leiden and Haarlem – opened their doors.

See below the six videos that have been made

1. The first one shows handmade bridal bouquets that include many dahlias. This is a very good example of what can be done with dahlia flowers. "The colourful dahlias are sure to capture the imagination and make many a heart beat faster. In short: a wonderful flower for a bridal bouquet."

2. The second video shows the garden around Keukenhof Castle. Dahlias have been planted here again this year. In this way, together with the Holland Dahlia Event, the dahlia is presented this summer and this fall. The castle garden is open to the public daily and many visitors enjoy the splendour of colours.

3. In this third video they show a colourful summer bouquet of flowers, with many typical summer flowers and a prominent place for the dahlia. "This provides inspiration for creating a dahlia field bouquet."

4. About 500 different dahlia cultivars have been planted in this experimental garden of a Dutch exporter. A beautiful spectacle of colours and flower shapes, so customers can make the right choices based on the blooming Dahlias.

5. This fifth video is about bouquets with only dahlias. One can make a beautiful statement with this. "The Dahlia stands for romance and strength."

6. The final video provides a beautiful and special insight into the private garden of a dahlia lover. Here they garden on colour in abundantly full borders. The Dahlia plays the leading role in this garden.
