On October 29, 2020, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, Ernst Noorman, and the Agricultural Advisor of the Dutch Embassy, Andrés Santana, shared a coffee with Jairo Cadavid, president of the Association of Colombian Nurseries, Colviveros. The meeting was intended to share with the Dutch diplomatic representative relevant information on nursery production in Colombia and its high socioeconomic impact for the country.

By 2021, the support to the live and ornamental plants segment will be reinforced with a greater participation of producers in initiatives such as the PUM program, which provides advice from Dutch experts in different fields, and issues such as the plant variety protection, among others.
