10 million flowers will be grown a year

Flower growing greenhouse constructed next to Moscow

A flower greenhouse has been constructed in the Moscow region (Russia), reports the regional government.

Mr. Sergey Voskresensky, acting as the Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Moscow Region: “The greenhouse complex growing tulips, flower seedlings and vegetables as well as planting material has been constructed in Ramensky urban district. The project has been carried out by by the TsvetCom company. The capacity of the facility should amount to 10 million pieces of produce per year.”

1.1 million euros were allocated for the construction. Currently, 0.8 hectares have been completed, another 1.5 ha to go.
