US: Leadership of Pasadena tournament of roses announced

On January 21 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association President Dr. Robert B. Miller addressed the volunteer members to highlight the Association’s accomplishments of the past year and present his goals for the year ahead.

In January, the Tournament of Roses traditionally announces the new President and a theme for the upcoming Rose Parade. However, with the cancellation of the 2021 Rose Parade as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors confirmed that Dr. Miller will remain President and Chairman of the Board for the 2022 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, providing leadership for the 133rd Rose Parade and 108th Rose Bowl Game on January 1, 2022.

The Board of Directors previously approved amendments to the bylaws that will allow for the rollover of all members of the Executive Committee, including officers, vice presidents and at-large members who will maintain their current positions for the upcoming year and then resume their usual rotations in 2022 -2023 parade year. The year which the future presidents will preside has been moved by one year.
