"The greenhouses of Deyuan Farm are all intelligently managed. Through monitoring of temperature, humidity, light intensity, soil moisture, carbon dioxide concentration, the film rolling machine, drip irrigation, and other equipment is all automatically controlled to ensure that the environment in the greenhouses is most suitable for crop growth." Even in the coldest season, when walking into the Deyuan Farm in Zhangye City, the flowers and trees are full of greenery. The flowers and fruits grown here in the greenhouse have been accurately managed through numerical control equipment.
Deyuan Farm has an area of 80 hectares. The park focuses on modern circular agriculture and has an over 666-hectare pastoral complex composed of five industrial bases of Chinese medicinal materials, flowers, asparagus, green organic vegetables, characteristic fruits, and livestock and poultry breeding.
"This greenhouse uses numerical control technology. The temperature is kept above 10°C, below 30°C, and the relative humidity is kept between 65% and 75%. This is very conducive to the growth of plants. Photosynthesis, temperature and humidity can meet the needs of plants themselves and save labor and improve our efficiency. According to Liang Shunzhao, general manager of Deyuan Farm in Linze County, the greenhouses of Deyuan Farm adopt the "Internet +" smart agriculture technology. Through computer program settings, measuring soil, light, humidity, and the planting process is a major feature.
"There are sensors that are responsible for collecting various data such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, carbon dioxide and transmitting them to the computer system of the control room. Compared to the artificially preset optimal plant growth parameters, the intelligent greenhouse control system can automatically control the opening and closing of the curtain and the spray system to adjust the temperature, light, water and air in the greenhouse and ensure that the plants are always in the best growth state," Mr. Liang explains.
