The 23rd edition of the Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai welcomed 43,905 visitors. The fair, organized by the China Flower Association and managed by Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co Ltd and China
Great Wall Exhibition, was held from April 15-17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The center hosted 700 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions. The number of visitors and exhibitors is something the organization is proud of, particularly considering the worldwide impact of the pandemic.

Satisfied exhibitors
During the 3-day event, exhibitors showcased their products and services in an area of 40,000 square. The show's exhibitors covered the full industry supply chain. Not only the organization but also the exhibitors seem to be satisfied with the show. In a survey, the majority of the exhibitors mentioned that they are satisfied with the visitors' quality (38% satisfied, 27% basically satisfied, 19% very satisfied, and 13% ordinary) and are eager to participate in 2023 (57%).

Also, many visitors filled out a survey, here are some highlights: Most of the visitors were retailers (21%), followed by producers (18%) and manufacturers (11%). The category that attracted the visitors' interest the most were the potted plants (17%), followed by cut flower/leaf/floral/materials (16%), and bulbs/seeds/seedlings (9%). The purpose of most visitors was to collect information of market and products (31%) and on the question "Will you visit again in 2023?", most answered Yes I will (42.7%), followed by I will exhibit (33.9%), and Undecided 20.4%).
