In the heart of Boskoop you will find the nursery of Alex Schoemaker. Breeding, selecting and growing Hydrangea paniculata is the great passion of this family business, which has resulted in the beautiful Living Creations Collection. Living Creations is grown by various European growers. At the nursery in Boskoop, hydrangeas from all over the world and the Living Creations Collection are uniquely presented in the spacious Showgarden. The Showgarden is at its best from mid-July until far into September: the perfect time to visit.
Judge in the Test Centre
This summer Alex Schoemaker will open the doors of the Test Centre & the Showgarden, and invites exporters, end customers and other interested parties to experience the testing process up close. Sun, rain, wind and frost, the varieties from the Living Creations Collection must be able to withstand all weather conditions. The Living Creations Test Centre is also called a boot camp for hydrangeas. During a visit to the nursery, one gets a unique glimpse into the world and future of Hydrangea paniculata.
