Takii, bloomon and Van Gogh Museum present bouquet

An ode to Van Gogh's sunflowers

Together with bloomon and the Van Gogh Museum, Takii is proud to present this collaboration in the form of the luxurious flower bouquet “Atelier – Van Gogh Museum edition”. This modern version of Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers will be available to consumers in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark and the United Kingdom in the coming weeks.

In the artistic design, you will find Van Gogh’s beloved sunflower ‘Sunrich – Van Gogh’s Favorite’, impressively long, striking stems that playfully rise above the other flowers. Sunflowers with this label have the very best quality and are all ‘masterpieces’ from the very best Dutch growers. Takii’s versatile Sunrich range is used in this bouquet, with Orange, UpGold, Summer, Limoncello, Marley and Ziggy.

Vincent van Gogh and sunflowers
Sunflowers (1889), one of Vincent van Gogh’s most iconic and beloved paintings, is the inspiration for the exclusive ‘Van Gogh Museum edition’. For Vincent, sunflowers had a special meaning. Like his contemporaries, he painted various flower still lifes, in which he gave the sunflower a leading role in many paintings. In one of his letters, he wrote that the flower expresses love, friendship and gratitude.

“What makes us still work is friendship among each other and love for nature.” – Vincent van Gogh to his brother Theo, April 30, 1874

Cooperation
It is not the first time that these three parties have joined forces: in September last year, they also launched the “Flowergram Sunflower Edition”, a careful selection of dried flowers inspired by the works of Vincent van Gogh. Thanks to its great success, this Flowergram was exceptionally included in the floral shop for one year and inspired Takii Seed, bloomon and the Van Gogh Museum to expand their collaboration with a bouquet of fresh flowers.

The ‘Atelier – Van Gogh Museum edition’ is available through the bloomon online floral shop. The ‘Flowergram – Van Gogh Museum Sunflower Edition’ is limitedly available until the end of this year.
