Malaysian florists showered with bridal orders

With churches and temples allowed to hold marriage ceremonies beginning today, orders are piling up for florists.

FarEastFlora.com manager Abby Beti Philip said business had picked up as soon as the government made the announcement. “We have been getting many inquiries and orders, so it looks like it’s going to be a busy month from mid-October. Roses, carnations, lilies, and baby’s breath are among the popular varieties.

“I don’t think there will be a problem supplying these flowers,” she said.

Abby added that since the government allowed more businesses to resume operations, orders have started to increase.
