China, Kunming:

Asia's largest smart flower greenhouse to be completed within the year

The flower greenhouse constructed by Anning Northward Flower Industry Co., a subsidiary of Jinyuan Flower Company, is located in Anning Rose Park. The Park covers an area of 68.46 hectares and is a modern and industrialized base that focuses on roses and integrates research and development, production, standardized production of fresh-cut flowers, and post-harvest processing.

At present, the main engineering phase and part of the roof construction have been completed, and the base is expected to be completed within this year.

Contrary to other flower greenhouses, this project adopts soilless cultivation and fully automated management. Because the greenhouse is being constructed and is producing at the same time, Northward has already realized 27.73 hectares of soilless cultivation in the greenhouse. The annual yield per hectare is 2.7 million to 3 million flowers, which is 30% higher than ordinary soilless cultivation. After it is fully operational, the output of fresh cut flowers will reach 80 million stems per year, and the output value will exceed 100 million RMB.
