Könst Alstroemeria names Paco van der Louw as its new CEO. Paco, 43 years old and working for Könst Alstroemeria since 2015, will succeed Hans Könst, the founder of Könst breeding activities.
“I am very happy with the appointment of Paco van der Louw as our new CEO and I expect he will not change much in our style of doing business. He will bring new inspiration and energy to our people, and with that will assure a bright future for Könst Alstroemeria”, according to Hans Könst.
For the last 6 years, Paco has been working as managing director of the Brazilian branch of Könst Alstroemeria, developing the business in one of the leading markets for Alstroemeria. Paco has experience in flower production and broad knowledge of Latin-American culture. He has a degree in Plant Sciences at Wageningen University and is living in Holambra, Brazil since 2003.
