Book now to ensure your place at the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2022

Tickets are now available for the AIPH International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) Awards, which takes place on 25th January 2022 at the Atlantic Hotel alongside IPM Essen, Germany.

Supported by Headline Sponsor Royal FloraHolland, the 12th edition of the AIPH IGOTY Awards celebrates the achievements in ornamental production. The new reception style format for the event allows a greater opportunity to reconnect with industry colleagues from across the globe and celebrate the winners and finalists in person.

The evening event includes a drinks reception with a range of food to fill stomachs as guests network with others in the industry. Following this, the awards will be presented for the four categories: Cut Flowers and Bulbs, Young Plants, Finished Plants and Trees, and the Sustainability Award.

From among these categories, only one winner will be crowned the ‘AIPH International Grower of the Year 2022’ and receive the ‘Gold Rose’ – the industry’s most coveted prize. An esteemed jury of horticultural industry experts have assessed entrants and the shortlist of nominees will be announced in December.

AIPH has also partnered with Jungle Talks for the inaugural ‘Young International Grower of the Year’ Award. Participants of Jungle Talks’ Pro Manager Mastercourse will have a chance to pitch to the jury at the awards event.

“We are looking forward to being able to celebrate the IGOTY awards face-to-face again. This year we have created an even more accessible event. This reception-style event will still come with plenty of food and drink but comes at a lower ticket price so even more industry colleagues can celebrate with the winners,” says Tim Briercliffe, AIPH Secretary-General.

Tickets for the evening reception and awards ceremony cost €50 (incl. VAT) per person. Groups of five tickets are available for the discounted price of €200 and groups of ten for €350. Due to COVID restrictions, tickets are limited and the event may fill up quickly. To secure your place, visit aiph.org/event/igoty-2022. Tickets can be canceled and refunded (minus a €10 admin fee) until 14th January 2022.

The IGOTY 2022 Awards are supported by headline sponsor Royal FloraHolland, founding partner FloraCulture International, sapphire sponsor Expo 2021 Hatay, pearl sponsor Freddie’s Flowers and awards partners CIOPORA and World Horti Center.
