As of January 1, 2022, the location of Fleurametz in the wholesale center in the Pyramide on the auction grounds in Honselersdijk will be transferred to MEERgroothandel. This wholesaler will add cut flowers and cut foliage to its range, which already includes plants, on the same date.
Fleurametz was active in the Pyramid for 27 years. From its headquarters in Aalsmeer, the company will continue to supply 'online large accounts', according to a (Dutch) press release. Until Friday, December 24th, Fleurametz will still offer the normal seasonal assortment. From December 27, they will reduce sales, and on Wednesday, December 29, the last day of sales, they will close at noon.
MEERgroothandel will start buying cut flowers and cut foliage on 3 January and customers are welcome from 6 am on 4 January for both cash and carry purchases and the collection of online orders. From 10 am, the wholesaler expects to be able to offer a range of cut flowers and cut greens.
