Floraphoto Klok is a photo editing service that allows growers and wholesalers in the flower and plant sector to edit their images live. Within seconds, they can create the perfect lot photos for sale at auction.
For some time now, Michiel Kuipers of Floral Innovations has noticed a need for a live photo editing tool for his customers in the floriculture sector. "Where flowers and plants used to be viewed on the floor, sales on the clock are increasingly going online," explains the owner of the company in Kudelstaart. "But this requires good photos and is often even mandatory. Something that many growers now often spend a lot of effort, time and energy on."
With the new Floraphoto Klok service, this can now be done quickly, easily, and affordably. "For just €0.90 per image, growers and traders can quickly, easily and in real-time create the perfect lot photo for sale on the clock."
Higher clock prices and more clock presales
Floral Innovations will launch the photo service in January. Maarten Maarse, one of the growers currently testing the service, is surprised by its user-friendliness. "It is simple, fast and also real time," says the lilac grower from Aalsmeer. "We upload our photos in real time and within a few seconds the perfect and up-to-date lot photos appear. Images are made free-standing fully automatically, after which they can be placed in a (custom) template or house style. For us, this has even led to higher clock prices and more clock presales. So with this live photo editing, we not only save time, energy and costs, but we also stand out from the rest."
