Despite the California Spring Trials officially starting today, several locations already welcomed the first visitors on Monday and Tuesday. Special buses for a "preview" were driving around. "It indicates that everyone is looking forward to seeing and visiting a "normal" CAST again", says René Knijn of Hem Genetics who welcomed the first visitors already. So, today, CAST officially starts and will run till April 3.

On display at Hem Genetics, several varieties including their novelty Petunia Yellow Lime - shown in this Pastel Mixture below which- can also be admired there.
For many years, Hem Genetics is participating at CAST, and this year, they are presenting their varieties at the Green Fuse Botanicals' new facility in a lemon orchard, the Green Fuse Grove in Somis, about 12 miles away from the former facility. At this location also Beekenkamp, Schoneveld, Vitroflora and Westhoff will be present.
