US (LA): Get it growing, the summer of Salvias

Each season, the LSU AgCenter selects plants that perform in Louisiana landscapes. In this edition of Get It Growing, LSU AgCenter horticulturist Heather Kirk-Ballard explains why the AgCenter picked perennial salvias as the summer 2022 Super Plant. The video showed a big variety of salvias such as roman red, a white flame, skyscraper orange, and blue color.

The LSU AgCenter's mission is to provide the people of Louisiana with research-based educational information that will improve their lives and economic well-being. The LSU AgCenter plays a role in supporting agricultural industries, enhancing the environment, and improving the quality of life.
