Since 2014, the brothers Tim and Bram have been growing garden plants under the Florizon Plants brand. The nursery has now grown to a cultivation area of 6 hectares, with indoor and outdoor greenhouses. Florizon Plants has a range of 190 cultivars species in total. Below you can read about five stars.
Astilbe
The cultivation is entirely in the grower's hands. Sometimes this is a risk, but in the case of Florizon, it has been delivering the same top quality for years. The Florizon Astilbe selection is available in 4 beautiful colors in a 23 cm pot.
Gaillardia
This plant has a flaming appearance with its red/yellow flowers. The Gaillardia has a flowering time of no less than two months. And it also remains nicely compact.
Brunnera
The Brunnera Silver Heart is a real asset to a trendy border due to its special properties. The heart-shaped silver leaves are very cuddly because of the hairy layer on them. From March, light blue flowers appear.
Viola
Violins are available in many colors and varieties. Perhaps the most notable is the black Viola Cornuta.
Hellebore
The development of a new cultivar is very complex and takes 8 to 10 years. Florizon Plants grows the pink ViV Vera and the white ViV Victor with great passion.
Tim and Bram take nature and the environment into account as much as possible during the cultivation process. Among others by:
- the construction of 232 solar panels
- an energy-efficient way of heating
- a natural control of diseases and pests
