Flower Circus goes U.S.A.

For the first time, Flower Circus made the crossing from the Netherlands to the U.S.A. Mark Frank and John Elstgeest represented Flower Circus at the Floriexpo in Miami.

This three-day trade show focuses entirely on the flower sector. The first day is an education day with seminars held by various speakers. Flower Circus was asked to give a presentation about upcoming trends. That was, naturally, done in true Flower Circus style with lots of public interaction and fun.

"This approach is very well-received in America, too," says John. "Our presentation got plenty of compliments, right after the show and during the trade fair."

At both, the two men showcased products from the businesses that accompanied Flower Circus. So, visitors could enjoy beautiful Dutch Cymbidiums and mini Cymbidiums, Lisianthus, Anthuriums, and Chrysanthemums.

"The American market is still wide open for most of these products. South American roses dominate the market in and around Miami. So, there's certainly plenty of chances to expand that market range," John concludes.
