Last week, on June 23, German celebrity Dolly Buster officially christened "her" 'Dolly Buster' hydrangea in the 'Popcorn Museum' in the HafenCity area of Hamburg. The christening was staged as a pink-popping media spectacle. The Hydrangea macrophylla' Dolly Buster is a novelty bred by Kordes Jungplanzen.

"For me, the color pink is the most beautiful," Dolly Buster said at the occasion. "I am very honored, and I think the plant is really beautiful. I can't think of any that I would like better."
